What To Expect In Your Consultation
A Virtual Skincare Consultation begins with a focused intake of your skin history, concerns and goals. We review your current routine, medications, lifestyle factors and any photos you provide. The session is designed to assess patterns—like acne flare triggers or persistent dryness—so the recommendations are targeted rather than generic.
During the 60 minute appointment (Starting at $50) Bea will explain her findings, suggest next steps and outline product and treatment options appropriate for a remote plan. If a hands-on exam or an in-person treatment is advisable, she will recommend scheduling a follow-up at the clinic for that next phase.
How Recommendations Are Tailored
Recommendations focus on what is already working and what may be exacerbating concerns. Bea routinely reviews ingredient lists and over-the-counter products, identifying items that could worsen acne or dryness. She balances conservative daily care with targeted options clients have chosen later, emphasizing affordable, researched products when possible.
When advanced treatments are relevant—clients often explore options after a consultation—Bea explains the trade-offs, timing and likely sequence so you can decide. Plans may include stepwise product changes, lifestyle adjustments, and referral to in-person procedures when a direct treatment is necessary for progress.
Local Skin And Timing Considerations
Scottsdale's hot desert climate and strong sun exposure shape common concerns like sensitivity, dehydration and sun protection needs. Clients who spend time outdoors for hikes, golf, or daily commutes often need routines that protect during high-UV months and address seasonal dryness or post-monsoon irritation.
Many local clients schedule consultations around activity windows—morning hikes, tee times, or school drop-off—and we accommodate that lifestyle. Note the practice is busiest in May, November and December, when people prepare for summer events and holiday gatherings; plan bookings earlier during those months.
